Description

This position suits a high-energy, proactive team player with at least 5 years’ experience.  The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter able to work in a team an environment or independently as well as have the following skills:

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Daily management of accounts receivable and payable and general ledger
  • Collect rent and make bank deposits
  • Administer Tenant Leases and Service Requests for numerous properties
  • Prepare Rent Schedules
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Common Fee Reconciliation and Tenant Billing
  • Prepare Government and Payroll Remittances (HST, Payroll, Corporate Tax)
  • Prepare T4’s, T5’s and Summary Reports
  • Preparation of Year End Files for Accountants

Skill Requirements

The successful Candidate will have the following:

  • A strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent Time Management and Organization Skills
  • Strong attention to detail         
  • Ability to follow instructions and multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and Maintain Productivity and Accuracy
  • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality and Discretion
  • Experience with Jonas Accounting Software would be considered an Asset but is not required.
