Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily management of accounts receivable and payable and general ledger
- Collect rent and make bank deposits
- Administer Tenant Leases and Service Requests for numerous properties
- Prepare Rent Schedules
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Common Fee Reconciliation and Tenant Billing
- Prepare Government and Payroll Remittances (HST, Payroll, Corporate Tax)
- Prepare T4’s, T5’s and Summary Reports
- Preparation of Year End Files for Accountants
Skill Requirements
The successful Candidate will have the following:
- A strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent Time Management and Organization Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to Work Under Pressure and Maintain Productivity and Accuracy
- Ability to Maintain Confidentiality and Discretion
- Experience with Jonas Accounting Software would be considered an Asset but is not required.
