Rosati won construction of the new Legacy Oak Trail Public School in LaSalle through a successful pre-qualified tender process. Designed by WalterFedy for the Greater Essex County District School Board, the elementary school consists of a single-storey, conventionally-constructed facility covering 39,579 square feet, and is expected to be complete by the start of the 2021 school year.
Interior features include standard classrooms, a gymnasium, library, staff rooms and administration areas. Outside, the grounds will incorporate a playground area and soccer field, staff parking lot, bus drop-off space and an independent Kiss and Ride parent drop-off area.
Rosati was also awarded the contract to carry out extensive SCIA upgrades to John Campbell and David Maxwell public elementary schools in Windsor.
With the two schools tendered as a package, upgrades and repairs include existing access stairs, interior and exterior doors, repointing of historical brick, repairs to historical terrazzo flooring, repainting and the updating of mechanical, electrical and fire-protection systems. The projects are slated for completion this fall.
