Rosati is proud to have teamed up with Mercato Fresh and M.R. Meat to donate and distribute $30,000 worth of food boxes to Windsor Lifeline Outreach Centre during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local food banks were struggling due to the surge in demand from families in need. Unfortunately, the 100 percent-volunteer-based WLO food bank had been temporarily closed due to concerns for its aging volunteers.
Seeing the pressing need, Rosati donated $15,000 and brought in its own labor force to run the food bank. Mercato Fresh and M.R. Meat donated $7,500 each to purchase additional food items.
To assist in this worthy cause, The Storage Box donated multiple storage boxes, Lucier Glove & Safety donated fencing and safety cones, and Hiram Walker & Sons donated hand sanitizer for each box.
Rosati is a long-standing supporter of WLO, which serves more than 500 families a month and also helps other local food banks.
